Ingredients

Fruits
  • 2 pieces apples, diced (I recommend a sweet variety like Fuji or Honeycrisp) Use firm apples for best texture.
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Feel free to use any single type of berry.
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed for the best flavor) Prevents apples from browning.
  • 1 tablespoon honey (adjust to taste) Can substitute with date syrup for different sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped Adds a fresh flavor to the salsa.
  • to taste pinch salt Enhances the sweetness of the salsa.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the apples and berries thoroughly. Dice the apples into small cubes and chop the mint finely.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples and mixed berries.
  3. Gently fold in the lime juice to keep the apples fresh.
  4. Drizzle in the honey and stir to ensure it's well-distributed.
  5. Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
  6. Sprinkle in the chopped mint and mix everything gently.
  7. Serve immediately or let it chill in the refrigerator to meld flavors.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for best flavor, ideally within 2-3 days. Freeze in small portions for later use; thaw at room temperature before serving.
