Cheese Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it is Halal-certified
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Meats & Veggies
  • 1/2 cup salami, chopped Ensure it is Halal-certified
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni, chopped Ensure it is Halal-certified
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olives, chopped
Seasonings
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Coating
  • 1 cup chopped nuts or breadcrumbs For coating

Preparation
  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Set up your workspace with all your ingredients and tools ready.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until well blended and creamy.
  3. Add Toppings: Mix in the chopped salami, pepperoni, roasted red peppers, chopped olives, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Form Balls: Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into small balls. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  5. Coat the Balls: Roll each cheese ball in your choice of chopped nuts or breadcrumbs.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Serve: Arrange the cheese balls on a serving platter.

Notes

These cheese balls are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze them before coating and coat them after thawing.
