  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon For cinnamon mixture

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans or line them with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in the milk to the wet mixture until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined. Don’t overmix!
  6. In a small bowl, combine the remaining sugar (½ cup) with the 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon and set it aside.
Baking
  1. Pour half of the batter into each loaf pan. Then sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
  2. Pour the remaining batter on top of the cinnamon mixture and finish with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar on top.
  3. Place the loaf pans in the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the bread to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Slice and enjoy your delicious creation!
