Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans or line them with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the milk to the wet mixture until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined. Don’t overmix!
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining sugar (½ cup) with the 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon and set it aside.
Baking
- Pour half of the batter into each loaf pan. Then sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top of the cinnamon mixture and finish with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar on top.
- Place the loaf pans in the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and enjoy your delicious creation!
Notes
