Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a light simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a big mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, Alfredo sauce, and any optional ingredients like chicken or vegetables. Mix until well-coated.
Baking
- Pour the spaghetti mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Consider using whole wheat spaghetti for a healthier option. Keep an eye on baking time and avoid overcooking the spaghetti initially.
