Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium zucchinis Cut into uniform pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Optional, add during the last 2 minutes of cooking

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by washing the zucchinis. Cut them into uniform pieces—whether circles, half-moons, or spears—so that they cook evenly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped zucchini with the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss them well to ensure all the pieces are coated evenly.
  3. Set your air fryer to 400°F (around 200°C), and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned zucchini in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  2. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it onto the zucchini during the last 2 minutes of cooking time.
Serving
  1. Once they’re golden brown and crispy, remove the zucchini from the air fryer and serve immediately. Enjoy your mouthwatering Air Fryer Zucchini hot!

Notes

For variations, consider using paprika, cumin, or your favorite herb blend instead of garlic and onion powder. Avoid overcooking and cutting the zucchini too thick to maintain ideal crispiness. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
