Preparation
- Begin by washing and dicing the potatoes into even cubes.
- Next, take your chicken sausages and slice them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes and sliced chicken sausage. Drizzle olive oil on top, then add salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings. Toss until well combined.
- Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes.
- Once preheated, carefully place the potato and sausage mixture into the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd it. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- After 15 minutes, check if the potatoes are tender and golden brown. If needed, give them a few more minutes.
- Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
Notes
Substitutions: Feel free to swap the chicken sausages for turkey sausages or veggie sausages for a meatless option. Keep an eye on the cooking time; air fryers can vary in efficiency. Don't overcrowd the basket to ensure even cooking.
