Ingredients

Dough and Filling
  • 1 pound Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup Pepperoni Slices or to taste
  • 1-2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese or to your liking
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese optional for topping
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning for extra flavor
  • as needed spray Olive Oil Spray for crispy finishing touch

Method

Preparation
  1. If you’re using store-bought pizza dough, take it out of the fridge and let it sit for about 10 minutes to relax.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Cut the rolled dough into squares, roughly 4x4 inches.
  4. Place a slice of pepperoni in the center of each square, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese and a dash of Italian seasoning.
  5. Fold the dough over to form a triangle. Press the edges together firmly to seal and use a fork to crimp the edges.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly spray the pockets with olive oil, then place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the pizza pockets from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
  2. Serve hot with your favorite marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes at 350°F (175°C) for best results. Can be frozen for up to a month.
