Preparation
  1. Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  2. Remove the stems and tear the kale leaves into bite-sized pieces.
Seasoning
  1. In a large bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the kale pieces and combine with salt and any additional seasonings.
  2. Toss everything together until the leaves are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
  2. Place the seasoned kale in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Monitor closely to prevent burning.
Serving
  1. Allow the chips to cool for a minute before enjoying. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Ensure the kale pieces are completely dry before adding oil to prevent sogginess. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking. You can store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
