  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by patting the chicken tenderloins with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg.
  4. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
Coating
  1. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, dip it into the beaten egg, and then coat it generously with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray them with cooking spray.
  3. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Making the Sauce
  1. While the tenders are cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in honey and cook for 1-2 minutes until fully combined.
Serving
  1. Once the tenders are crispy, toss them in the honey butter garlic sauce until evenly coated.
  2. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

Leftover chicken tenders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. When ready to enjoy again, reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes to crisp back up.
