Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat. Form into four equal patties.
Cooking
- Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
- In the last 2 minutes of cooking, throw the burger buns in the air fryer (cut side up) for a warm, toasty finish.
Assembly
- Place each patty on a toasted bun and load with your favorite toppings. Enjoy your meal!
Notes
For substitutions, try using ground turkey or chicken as alternatives to beef. When reheating, use the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes to keep burgers crispy.
