Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound large shrimp, tails removed and deveined Opt for fresh or fully thawed shrimp
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed Best if freshly squeezed
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • as needed lemon wedges, for serving For an extra zesty kick

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Clean the shrimp by removing the tails and deveining them, if necessary. Pat them dry with paper towels and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the garlic butter sauce.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, shaking the basket halfway through.
  2. Once done, remove the shrimp from the air fryer, toss with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes until warmed through. For freezing, cool and place in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
