Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Whisk until smooth.
Cutting and Dunking
- Cut the bread slices into strips, typically about 1-2 inches wide.
- Dip each strip into the egg mixture, ensuring each piece is completely coated but not overly soggy.
Air Frying
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the coated French toast sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, allowing space for air to circulate.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning. They are ready when golden brown.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove and serve immediately with maple syrup for dipping.
Notes
Experiment with different types of bread for unique flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for several weeks. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
