  • 4 large Flour Tortillas Ensure they are halal-certified
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Preferably mozzarella for that melty goodness
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, softened Or use olive oil for a lighter option
  • to taste Salt
  • Optional Fresh Parsley For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with garlic powder and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  2. Take each tortilla and spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side.
  3. Sprinkle a good amount of shredded cheese over the buttered side of the tortillas.
  4. Fold the tortillas in half to make a half-moon shape, or stack two for a double-layered treat.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Place the prepared tortillas into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serving
  1. Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with fresh parsley if using.
  2. Cut into wedges, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For freezing, wrap individually in plastic wrap and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to a month. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
