Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound baby or regular carrots, peeled If using regular carrots, cut into similar-sized pieces.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Feel free to experiment with different types of honey.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. If using regular carrots, cut them into uniform pieces for even cooking. Baby carrots can be used whole.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika to form a cohesive glaze.
  3. Add the carrots to the bowl and toss them well, ensuring they are evenly coated with the honey mixture.
  4. Set your air fryer temperature to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for a few minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the coated carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook in batches if necessary.
  2. Cook for about 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The carrots should be tender and slightly caramelized.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, transfer the carrots to a serving dish, drizzle with additional honey if desired, and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for about 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C). For longer storage, freeze the carrots for up to 2 months.
