Ingredients
  

For the bananas
  • 2-3 pieces ripe bananas, sliced into thick rounds
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or cooking spray If using butter, melt before applying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced bananas, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Gently toss until the bananas are well coated.
  3. If using butter, melt it in a microwave-safe dish. Lightly brush the air fryer basket with melted butter or spray it with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange the coated banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to help the bananas caramelize evenly.
  2. Carefully remove the bananas from the air fryer and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with toppings like vanilla ice cream or shredded coconut. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
