Equipment

  • - Air fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • - Tongs or spatula

Ingredients

  • - 1 medium head of cauliflower cut into bite-sized florets
  • - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • - 1/2 cup water
  • - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • - 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
  • - 1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil

Instructions

  • **Prepare the cauliflower**
  • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets, ensuring they’re roughly the same size for even cooking.
  • **Make the batter**
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • **Coat the cauliflower**
  • Add the cauliflower florets to the batter, tossing until each piece is evenly coated. Shake off any excess batter.
  • **Air fry the cauliflower**
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the battered cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • **Prepare the Buffalo sauce**
  • In a small bowl, mix the Buffalo sauce with melted butter or olive oil.
  • **Toss and serve**
  • Once the cauliflower is crispy, transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Pour the Buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
  • **Serve**
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces, like ranch or blue cheese dressing. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
