Ingredients
  

For the pastry
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
For the filling
  • 1 cup apple pie filling Can be substituted with fresh diced apples mixed with sugar and cinnamon.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
For cooking
  • Cooking spray For an extra crispy finish.
Optional serving
  • Ice cream Optional topping for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the refrigerated pie crusts on a clean surface and cut them into squares—about 3x3 inches.
  3. In a small bowl, combine your apple pie filling with the cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple pie mixture in the center of each pie crust square.
  5. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to create a little parcel, pinching to seal it well.
  6. Lightly spray the outside of the bombs with cooking spray.
Cooking
  1. Place the bombs in your air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
  2. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, let them cool slightly and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
