Ingredients

Dough and Filling
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 spray Cooking spray For greasing the air fryer basket
  • Powdered sugar for dusting Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Open the package of refrigerated crescent roll dough. On a clean surface, unroll the dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the apple pie filling, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Take a spoonful of the apple mixture and place it at the wide end of each dough triangle. Roll the dough over the filling, starting from the wide end to the narrow end, and tuck in the sides to prevent any filling from leaking.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the Apple Pie Bombs in the basket, ensuring they don’t touch.
Cooking
  1. Cook the bombs for about 8-10 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
  2. Once they’re done, remove them carefully. Let them cool for a minute or two, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3-4 minutes. For longer storage, freeze in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Variations can include using different pie fillings.
