Preparation
- Core and slice each apple into wedges, aiming for uniform pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the apple wedges and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apples and toss well.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
- Place the apple wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Serving
- Remove golden brown and crispy apple fries from the air fryer and serve warm, optionally with caramel dip.
Notes
Store leftover apple fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes or until warm and crispy. You can freeze for up to 2 months.
