Preparation
  1. Peel the ripe bananas and slice them in half lengthwise, then cut them in half again to create quartered pieces.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush it with oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Place the banana pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t overlapping.
  4. Cook for 5-7 minutes, checking halfway through for a beautiful golden-brown color.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the bananas from the air fryer and serve them warm with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Store leftover air fried bananas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, air fry for 2-3 minutes or microwave for a softer texture. For longer storage, freeze on a baking sheet and transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months.
