#### **Step 1: Brown the Beef**
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Add onion and garlic, cooking for 2-3 minutes until softened.
#### **Step 2: Add the Vegetables & Seasonings**
Stir in chopped cabbage, carrots, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf.
Cook for 5 minutes until the cabbage starts to soften.
#### **Step 3: Simmer the Soup**
Pour in crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for **25-30 minutes** until vegetables are tender.
#### **Step 4: Add the Rice & Serve**
Stir in cooked rice and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
Remove bay leaf, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve hot with crusty bread or a side salad.
