A Luxurious Dessert Experience

Are you ready to indulge in a slice of heaven? Let me introduce you to the Black Jungle Cake, a delightful treat that embodies decadence in every layer.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 eggs
  • 200 gr of flour
  • 300 gr of sugar
  • 50 gr of bitter cocoa
  • Cherries necessary amount
  • 500 ml of milk cream
  • 425 gr of icing sugar
  • 300 gr of semi-bitter chocolate
  • Cherry liquor or other liquor optional
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Cake:
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until you achieve a thick, light mixture that leaves a groove when you lift the beaters.
  • Sift the flour and cocoa powder into the egg mixture, gently folding to maintain the airiness of the batter.
  • Preheat your oven to 180 °C (moderate). Grease and flour three medium cake molds.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the molds and bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Once baked, allow them to cool completely.
  • Prepare the Filling Cream:
  • In another bowl, beat the milk cream until it starts to thicken. Add the vanilla essence and icing sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Cake Assembly:
  • Place the first cake layer on a serving plate. If using, soak it with cherry liquor for added flavor.
  • Spread a generous layer of cream on top and dotted with cherries.
  • Place the second layer of cake on top and repeat the process.
  • Finally, add the third layer and cover the whole cake with the remaining cream.
  • Decorate with cherries and grated or melted semi-bitter chocolate on top.
  • Finish and Serve:
  • Let the cake chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to meld together. Slice, serve, and watch as everyone falls in love with your incredible creation!
