Ingredients

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers red, yellow, and green for color
  • 1 cup sliced zucchini
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Method

  1. Prep Your Veggies: Wash and cut all your vegetables. Try to slice them evenly for consistent cooking.
  2. Heat the Pan or Griddle: Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat, adding a dash of sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Add Garlic: Once the pan is hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, but be careful not to burn it!
  4. Stir-Fry the Veggies: Toss in the broccoli, bell peppers, zucchini, and carrots. Stir constantly for about 5-7 minutes until they’re tender but still crisp.
  5. Add Seasonings: Pour in the soy sauce and additional sesame oil. Stir everything together for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if using.
