Ingredients
  

  • 4 eggs size M
  • 120 g sugar
  • 100 g wheat flour type 405
  • 30 g baking cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 600 g cream
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • 2 packs of vanilla sugar
  • Fresh cherries for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan to ensure the cake comes out easily after baking.
  • Prepare the sponge mixture: In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. This will take about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the dry ingredients: Sift together the wheat flour, baking cocoa, and baking powder, then fold them gently into the egg mixture until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix!
  • Bake the cake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  • Make the whipped cream: In another bowl, whip the cream with cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Assemble the cake: Once the sponge is completely cool, spread the whipped cream generously on top of the cake.
  • Top with cherries: Decorate the cake with fresh cherries for a vibrant finish.
  • Serve and enjoy: Slice the cake and serve it to your delighted guests!
