Ingredients
  

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 200 ml of coconut milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tiles of melted butter
  • 2 cups of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 100 g of grated coconut
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 200 ml of coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup of milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Blend the Wet Ingredients: In a blender, mix the eggs, milk, coconut milk, sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder.
  • Mix Together: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour & Bake: Pour the batter into a greased baking mold and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Prepare the Calda: While the cake is baking, mix the condensed milk, coconut milk, and milk in a bowl to create the soaking syrup.
  • Soak the Cake: Once baked, poke holes in the hot cake and pour the calda over it while it’s still warm.
  • Add Coconut: Sprinkle grated coconut over the top of the cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
