  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Ensure it is Halal-compliant.
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened Can use plant-based butter or ghee for Halal-friendly option.
  • 1 cup milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. Add the softened butter to the flour mixture and blend it in until you achieve a crumbly texture.
  4. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring gently until a wet and sticky dough forms.
  5. Drop heaping tablespoons of the dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
  2. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Store biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
