  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, unsweetened) Make sure it is at room temperature.
  • 1 cup sugar Can be substituted with honey.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Ensure they are at room temperature.

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and sugar. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the two large eggs and whisk until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, stirring gently until smooth. Avoid over-mixing.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and ensure an even layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a twist, substitute honey for sugar or add a dash of vanilla extract. Keep an eye on baking time to avoid overbaking.
