Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 sleeve Ritz Crackers (about 30 crackers)
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Toffee Bits (found in the baking aisle)
  • ½ cup Butter (1 stick)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with wax paper to make removing the bars easier once they’re set.
  3. Place a single layer of Ritz crackers at the bottom of the lined dish.
Cooking
  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the toffee bits until they are well combined and slightly bubbly.
  2. Pour the toffee mixture over the arranged Ritz crackers, ensuring to cover them evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the toffee layer, evenly distributing them.
  4. Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate chips are melted and gooey.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely before lifting the bars out using the wax paper.
  2. Cut into squares or rectangles for serving.

Notes

These bars pair wonderfully with coffee, hot chocolate, or ice-cold milk. For storage, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for up to two weeks.
