Preparation
- Grab a round cake pan or a square dish and line it with plastic wrap to make removing the cake easier.
- Crush about half of your Oreo cookies into large pieces, maintaining some texture.
- Place a layer of crushed Oreos at the bottom of your pan, then spread a generous layer of your favorite ice cream evenly on top.
- Add another layer of crushed Oreos followed by more ice cream, repeating the process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of ice cream.
- Cover the cake with plastic wrap or foil and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Once set, remove from the freezer, cover the top with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and slice into pieces.
Notes
Store any leftovers tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or foil in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. To serve the cake after freezing, let it sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to soften slightly.
