- Cook your rice according to package instructions and set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and broccoli florets to the cooked turkey; sauté for about 3-4 minutes until veggies are tender but still crunchy.
- Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir well to coat everything evenly; let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Scoop cooked rice into bowls, top with the turkey mixture, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Substitutions: Lean ground chicken can replace ground turkey. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month. Reheat in a pan or microwave with a splash of water.
