  • 1 cup peanut butter Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 egg. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop out portions of the dough and place them on a lined baking sheet with some space in between.
  4. Press each ball down gently with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For variations, consider using almond butter or sunflower seed butter. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds if desired.
