Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Make sure they are very ripe for the best sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder This will give the brownies their rich chocolate flavor.
  • 1/2 cup nut butter Almond or peanut butter works great for moisture and taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s nice and ready when you are.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. The riper the bananas, the sweeter the brownies will be!
  3. Gradually add the cocoa powder to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined and there are no lumps.
  4. Stir in the nut butter until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  5. Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  6. Pour the mixture into your prepared dish and smooth the top. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing.

Notes

For variations, consider drizzling with honey or adding nuts for extra crunch. Ensure bananas are very ripe for the best flavor.
