  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter You can switch between peanut or almond butter for flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Add the cocoa powder and nut butter to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
  4. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with nonstick spray or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

To store the brownies, keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months. To reheat, thaw at room temperature or microwave for a few seconds.
