Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the shrimp are well coated.
  3. Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the shrimp, ensuring each shrimp has a cheesy topping.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for that extra zing!

Notes

Fresh vs. Frozen: If using frozen shrimp, ensure they are completely thawed and patted dry before seasoning to prevent excess water. Don't overcook; keep a close eye on the shrimp while baking. Storage: Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently.
