Method

Cooking the Noodles
  1. Bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes.
Preparing Garlic and Oil
  1. While the noodles cook, heat sesame oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Once the noodles are cooked, drain and rinse them under cold water to stop cooking. Add the noodles to the pan with garlic. Pour in soy sauce and toss everything together gently, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated.
Finishing and Serving
  1. Remove from heat. Top the noodles with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Feel free to add any sautéed veggies you prepared, and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of water and microwave for 1-2 minutes or sauté on the stove. You can freeze portions for quick meals later, but texture may change slightly after defrosting. Experiment with different noodle varieties and add protein for a complete meal.
