Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping
  • 6 slices cooked chicken bacon, chopped Ensure it's Halal compliant.
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by placing the boneless chicken breasts in your crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  3. Place the cream cheese on top of the seasoned chicken. This will melt beautifully, enriching the dish.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. You'll know it’s ready when the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Finishing Touches
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks, stirring in any remaining cream cheese until it’s well combined.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chicken bacon, allowing it to melt into the dish.
  3. Top with chopped green onions to add freshness and color before serving.
