Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface into a rectangle of about 12x9 inches. Transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Score a 1-inch border around the edges of the pastry using a knife. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
- Spread the cranberry sauce evenly inside the scored border.
- Arrange the Brie slices evenly over the cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle crumbled beef bacon and chopped thyme over the cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the borders of the puff pastry.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Let the tart cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes. Freeze unbaked tart for up to a month.
