Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package frozen potstickers (approximately 12 pieces) Ensure they're halal-certified
  • 2 servings noodles (egg noodles, rice noodles, or udon) Use halal-certified noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, snap peas, or your choice) Use any combination of preferred vegetables
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Ensure it's halal-certified
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method

Preparation
  1. Boil the Noodles: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook according to the package instructions, typically 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. Cook Potstickers: While the noodles are cooking, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add frozen potstickers without defrosting them first. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, turning them occasionally, until they are golden and crispy.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables: Add minced garlic and mixed vegetables to the skillet with the potstickers. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until veggies are tender but still vibrant in color.
  4. Add Seasoning: Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring well to coat the potstickers and veggies evenly.
  5. Combine Everything: Finally, add the drained noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together for an additional minute, allowing the flavors to blend while ensuring the noodles are heated through.
  6. Serve: Transfer your delicious 20-Minute Potsticker Noodle Bowls into serving bowls and enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions: Feel free to swap out the frozen potstickers with your choice of halal chicken or vegetable dumplings. You can also use gluten-free noodles for those looking for a gluten-free option. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days. For reheating, use a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water to help steam the contents.
